On the Prowl (18"x24")
A beam of light streams into the forest, illuminating the vibrant colors of the autumn leaves, the green grasses, and the rich, glossy coat of a tiger on the prowl. Her movements are unhurried and self-assured – she is confident in her ability to move silently and strike quickly. Without a doubt, the forest is hers to rule. On the Prowl captures the power and poise of the tiger as she patrols her territory and watches over the forest. Although the scene appears calm, there is no doubt in the viewer’s mind that the tiger could change in an instant, turning into a whirl of claws and a flash of fangs to defend her territory if needed.

Cherry Abundance (13"x19") SOLD
The bounty of summer spills out onto the table! In this painting, I have captured the abundance that summer brings. Rainier cherries and Bing cherries are piled high, ready to be turned into pies, tarts, or simply enjoyed as they are. The cherries are evocative of warm, lazy summer days and the joy that the simple act of gathering fruit can bring. I invite viewers to imagine themselves in a cherry orchard, reaching up to pick the perfect fruit, and the satisfaction that follows once the day is over and there is enough to share with everyone. Soon, the fruit will be enjoyed as sticky fingers covered in cherry juice stains reach to eat “just one more”. “Cherry Abundance” speaks to a summer day well spent. Although the cherries are truly enticing, I also show the ones with imperfections. Such is life, no matter how carefully you pick.
